CMISA is pleased to announce a new strategic collaboration with TIASI, the Canadian-led Innovation and Aerospace Supercluster Initiative, launched on the occasion of the Ukrainian Recovery Conference 2026.
Through this collaboration, CMISA will work with TIASI and its international network to strengthen cooperation between Canadian, European, and Ukrainian partners across marine industries, shipbuilding, innovation, academia, and commercialization.
This initiative will help create new pathways for Canadian marine and shipbuilding expertise to contribute to international projects, while supporting opportunities in research, development, training, investment, and knowledge transfer.
“This collaboration marks an exciting opportunity for CMISA and our members,” said Marlene Conway Diels, Chair of the CMISA Board. “By working with TIASI and its network of academic, industrial, and innovation partners, we are opening the door to new partnerships, new funding opportunities, and new pathways for Canadian expertise to contribute to international projects.”
“We are pleased to welcome CMISA to TIASI,” said Sotiris A. Bouzeas, Founder & CEO of TIASI. “The capacity, expertise, and excellence of CMISA’s membership will be valuable in advancing innovation, competitiveness, and international collaboration in shipbuilding, aerospace, and other strategic sectors.”
CMISA looks forward to working with TIASI and its partners to support innovation, collaboration, and growth opportunities for Canada’s marine industries and shipbuilding sector.
